I'd say the best one to get is...

1. The one with the most memory.

2. The one with the best specs.

3. The one with the best price.

4. The one you like.

Since I know nothing of either of these cameras, and most folks prolly don't, post some specs mang!

check out www.camcorderinfo.com . They bench mark all kinds of camcorders. They all get the same treatment so it is easier to see how camcorders compare to each other. I just purchased a panasonic and its quite good. I AM thinking though of returning it and getting the model you are looking at with the 3ccd chips. But as far as sound , the panasonics are better.

just got back from boarding. i love the sweet powder. i wish i had a camcorder to tape what we did today man. we went up to summit mountain and my since my friend loves snowmobiling to the top of the mountain, i just kept hitching rides. fresh powder, no one has touched. so sweet. then i ate it big time and almost started an avalanche. hahaha
great stuff.

ivce only experienced powder twice, when i went up to vermont a couple times. it is awesome.

snowboarding with somebody tugging you is tough too. i tried it once with my buddies 4wheeler pulling me. the front of my board caught on something and i went flying forward on my face. the momentum of the board caused it to snap back and hit me in my shoulder blades too. i had a line across the top of my back; the little kids watching thought i was dead.

get some videos soon. i want to see what alaska looks like.
