Actually, the torch is $10 from Home Depot whereas the warmer is $220. There are plenty of professional racers that do that. I did it, and so did a friend with his 7 second street-legal car.

I ran one of those atv's at the track once. They were hardly modded and ran low 15's. I was reeling them in at the end, but their 1/8th mile is unbeatable for any normal car.

So what you are saying, Jon... he bogged off the line and backfired the civic? That's classic.. and here I thought the first mod most ricers did was the chrome fire extinguisher from the A piller?

Spraying too much off the line is like "choking" an engine. Basically it'll caugh it back up and light it on fire.

Apparently someone in the group already had that mod because they used it to put out the fire under the hood.
