From what I see, the part that kills your 1/8 mile time is your 0-60 feet time. Practice your launch and the first few gears and you'll be set. IMO 2.5s avg 0-60s time IS too much for a car with a potential of low 2's at least. I run a barely sub 2 on my autotragic wrx with only a few mods. but of course, its awd.

With horrible wheel spin and hop, I average 2.4 for a 60' time, so you are doing something horribly wrong. Done right, I can get a 2.29 with the crappy stock michelins.
Your 60' times (and mine) should be down around 2.2
If you could get the 60' time down to 2.2. that would save you .4 off most your runs and make your times much more respectable.
Next time you go to the track, ignore the end time and speed and concentrate on your launch. try to get the best 60' and 330' times. You will find once you do, the 1/8 and 1/4 mile times will show the same, if not better improvement.

Yeah, I noticed alot of hop..will be addressed next wednesday or this Friday 
. And videos and/or pic's also. I think im going to mount my camcorder in the passenger seat (if I dont remove it for next run) to watch my launch RPM's. I think Friday's is there import/domestic night. So I can get some kills in..hehe. Not an issue right now...as I need to walk b4 I can "run". -thanks guys.
(Not one Tibby or Hyundai @ the track either
