Man, all that money worth of damage is more than the car is worth!
But it did come out looking as sexy as brand new. The pics of it being wrecked made me shed a tear... because my tib is black... so the thought of something happening to it... oh god *finds comfort blanket*.
Glad you got everything straightened out though!
And on the airbags... Hyundai isn't too reliable with them. I got into an accident in my dad's (well, it was mine from May 2003 to May 2004) 97 Elantra Wagon GLS because the brakes completely went even though I told my parents they needed to be fixed, and they didn't care. So... I slammed into the back of some car and my airbags flew open. Thing is, they didn't fly open until AFTER collision... you know, when I already realized I was in an accident and about to unbuckle my seatbelt to get out of the car.
