The HD was after the issues came up and they can claim flywheel horsepower. The HD was certified at 138 flywheel. The older betas did not make the 140 they claim, but I think it was around 130 at the flywheel.

03-accent-03, I never drove a Mini before, but I've sat inside and I liked it a lot. The speedo in the middle still annoys the HECK out of me. It's also way overpriced for what it is.

It bothered me at first too, but it makes me pay more attention to what I'm doing and get used to what each speed actually feels like. If that's not your cup of tea, you can set the digital display in the tach to display current speed.

ive driven a few Coopers, only one mazda (the 626 my buddies first car) it reached 145 stock
