My dad was driving and it starts to smoke (like you overheated), he start to break, pressed clutch and clutch pedal fell on the floor, he stopped. Tried to open the hood but nothing. Went outside and ppl start shouting it's in fire (under the car). While firemen were coming, some ppl tried to help, tried to open the hood, but could only bent it a bit. When fire brigade showed up, they used big axe and opened it and extinguish fire in the engine bay.

thanks for everyone who is reading this!

I thought that looked like a Daewoo emblem but wasn't sure. No insurance? That hurts.

damn man that sucks!! yeah i remember when the esperos first came out! delieve it or not, my dad had a growing family of four and was about to get a Tico!! Then they tried to convince us to get an Espero... but i manipulated my dad not to buy it because it was kind of ugly. i remember loving the car when it first came out though i mean you wouldn't think they were bad cars at all.

daewoo i just wouldn't buy at all. the dealerships in poland were all bought out or bankrupt so it was difficult to find service. they were also cheap cars. but the Matiz was a great success if they designed cars like that to start off with they wouldn't be doing so bad.

Lanos was the first car i ever drove... fun car that was. we went to a SEAT dealership and came out with a Cordoba. Tell your dad to buy a SEAT, they're very very good cars!!!

i see your beautiful black tiburon in the back there!!! ukraine reminds me so much of poland...

she rolled it 4 times 5 days after we got it for her decided she was gonna go 80 down a dirt road

mad.gif

she still insists she was goin 35(25mph zone) but at 35 can you explain rolling 4 times and sliding upside down 110 feet was put in the police report?

oh well the ins gave us 7200 for the car and i made my sister pay the 500 deductible i got my money back and installed trans number 2

That should polish right out wink1.gif

Seriously though, do they know what the cause of the fire was? Electrical fault or something?
