^ Are we talking legally downloading? If not, with some common sense LimeWire works well. (By common sense I mean looking at file sizes, descriptions, etc. to make sure they aren't infected with malicious software.) I would say WinMX but that got shut down a couple of years ago. sad.gif Some people got the network up and running agin but its not as strong as it used to be yet.

jamglue.com havent had any trouble with it (make sure you listen to the songs before you download them as some are remixes) havent found a single file with viruses so far

+2 for torrents, especially if you'd rather download albums instead of single tracks. For the normal top 40 type listener a program like limewire is probably more suitable.
