Well I will give a brief description of what has been going on with me for the past 4 months….

In January, I was supposed to go to Cuba for the Navy Expeditionary Guard Battalion (they are the prison guards for the terrorists), but because I have tattoos on my neck, I got de screened for the mission and been trying to get orders back to Norfolk area in Virginia….

So I had got orders to go to be an instructor back in Virginia Beach, VA…which would have been 5 minutes away from my house…So I excited about this option because this would have better my career if I decide to make it a career (I am at 6 years)…but once again I could not go because of the tattoos…

Then I had to wait another month, so then I was able to get orders to Tactical Training Group Atlantic (they train battle groups and get them ready for deployment), so now I was ready to get home back to the family…

While getting ready to get all my shit together for transfer to this command, (flag duty screening, evad, etc), my detailer called me this morning told me that the billet for the command went invalid, so I had to pick orders quick to get back with the family….

So now I maybe going to VQ-4 Recon Detachment Squadron in Pax River, MD in the southern part of Maryland…

So for all my Maryland Tiburon owner’s we are going to have met up…Cause for some odd reason there were no members in Tidewater Area of Virginia

 

funny what tattoos can change so much in your life because of the military. you can't even have a scar when you go in so most of the guys are in good health i assume.

i will frequent here much less this year, but it'll be nice to have another member here and we can meet up. i just really hope you like it here more than i don't sad.gif

 

actually i have chinese letters on one side of my neck and my actually signature on the otherside...and i got them when i was in before they change the regutalions on them...

HKC-what part of maryland are you from...i figure that most of the members stay more northern

you know how d.c. is a diamond shape? i'm on the top part of the diamond. so you can see where i stand. it's ghetto, busy, and crowded but compared to other places it's not the worst place to be but despite the worsening crime rates and crazy loud obnoxious gangs this place has really big political scandals going on like politicians, insurance companies, pharmaceutical companies, construction agencies reaping in billions off the working class and middle class. traffic/photo/speed cameras all over the place, i'd say that's every city but when i say bad i mean it just 'aint human and people are getting screwed. of all the places i don't think America's "wonderful" capitol should equate to South African politics. it's definitely not the beautiful place it used to be 50+ years ago. it's 100 times worse and northern & southern maryland is getting there too 02.gif

im from southern maryland, very eastern charles county. i'm up near hkc now for school, buti definitely used to go to pax river all the time.

 

i don't know how you did it. that program is insane to get into and stay in man. i should hear from the university in May. i'll be spending days at the gym if i get accepted and i'll be there frequently because of free parking so i might see you. i'm growing gray hair just from thinking about it since they get a bunch of freshmen in the fall.

i'd be down for a meet though. cypher is having one up on the eastern side but i won't be able to show. i've met one other person on this forum, OP and he was awesome. i still keep in touch with him to this day. i have to see where he stands on the genesis coupe since he's looking for a new rwd monster. we made a few good trades as well.

 

yeah they change the policy cause it was not repersenting good image of the navy, but o well...
