thats funny, i just moved out of orlando to come to california. i lived in altamonte springs which is near castleberry.

if your going to get deep into tuning your car, there are a few places to stay away from. excessive engineering in apopka is the major one to stay away from. i use to work there and the owner is a piece of crap. matter of fact, if you could go over there and spit in his eye for me i would really appreciate it.

Lamada tunning is another no no. these 2 shops are always at the track and they win all the time because they take the money you give them to work on your car and put it into their car and tell you some lame excuse of "my shop got robbed and i did'nt have insurance so now i am bankrupting my shop" so you get screwed.

however, there is injuku racing which is very well know for drifting. they mainly do 240's and AE86's but they are all real cool.

if you really want to get into street racing, get on I-4 towards down town, get off on state road 50 also called colonial. take a left towards down town. you will go over a set of rail road tracks. and the next light is called orange. on the left is a stereo shop that looks like an old gas station, they do window tinting and stuff. well every night around 10pm, everyone hangs out there, mostly domestics. but if you want action, that is the starting point.

orlando also has some pretty cool clubs but not as good as ybor city in tampa (pronounced E-bore if your wondering)

if you have any questions about orlando, just message me here. I lived there for a real long time. i miss it but the wifes family is in cali so i guess i am stuck here.

Don't promote sstreet racing. It's dangerous and can kill others. Next time will be a warning.

like i said, it is a starting point. it's kind of like a car show every night. you dont have to get involved with it and i don't mean to sound like i am promoting street racing but that is where all the street racers hang out. it's just a cool place to hang out.

cop's stop buy and check out all the cars and nobody gets into trouble. even a few cops hang out on their off time.

there is a website fuel slut it was created in orlando and it is mainly domestic but there is a lot of info on there to what is going on in orlando.

the people that hang out there can point you in the dirrection of good performance shops also, well as long as they dont mention the 2 i said earlier.

i am not promoting street racing, i am giving info on where to hang out with other car enthusiast and if they get involved with street racing then that is their bad.

For all you FL people, go join FloridaTibs.com. We meet up at least once a month in the tampa area for the central part. Also they are doing a car show at the Hyundai in New Port Richey in Dec., anybody who enters gets to put there car on the front line of the dealership.
