Waving at a North Korean across the DMZ, and having him flash me the peace symbol in return.

Walking into the Cathederal in Barcelona and seeing the mantle piece's of the saints, then downstairs to a tomb of some old queen, with her coffin on display. From 800 AD. There were about 1000 folks in the cathederal, not one sound.

At 16 years old holding my moms new baby (My little brother John, no other kids between us) the day he was born.

I would have to say that they are

1. Proposing to my fiance at the end of the pier in South Haven, MI after a rain stom and the sun was peeking through the thunderheads and it was BEAUTIFUL.

2. Losing my virginity to her in her bedroom after school.

3. Getting my license.

4. The three times I have been told that there has been a death. (both Grandfathers and my best friend's dad).

 

1. finding out that my best friend commited suicide at the age of 15. i was 13. knew each other our whole lives...

2. rather comical moment that i'll never forget. there were a group of 7 of us goin up to Montreal. my first and only time. we had just crossed the border. we exchanged some money, and continued driving to find the first beer store. well, we find one (took FOREVER!) buy a couple tall cans and continue driving into Montreal. well, after the first one i REALLY had to go to the bathroom. unfortunately, we were in massive amounts of traffic on the highway. we couldn't stop. i REALLY had to go...
so i look down and find an empty water bottle. yea, i'm in the back and w/ 3 other ppl in the car, i unzip, turn to the right (i'm now facing the window... we're in the middle lane) and relieve myself right there. we were all crackin up... til i say, "i'm runnin outta room guys..." luckily i stopped RIGHT at the top.

Playing manhunt with my best friends in a dark creepy movie theatre during the blackout of 2003. That was probably the most fun Ive had.

Going to Toronto for the first time with the boyfriend.

Seeing Matthew Good Band in one of their few US shows in NYC when I 16. It was in a bar so I was overage, so when I got in I felt so cool.

Driving to Canada by myself. My best friend calling me halfway telling me she had just given birth.

uh...getting the first tib. Never thought it would happen.

Worst moment, when the first tib was destroyed. Getting into that accident, and calling my mom at the hospital, then when she came down there the tears we shared.

Other than that life's been pretty boring.

 

Don't you mean you were "underage?"

To be completely honest the moment I remember the best in my life was when I got hit with a baseball bat on my forehead. I remember everything, which might seem weird. I got hit, my brother freaked, we went to the hospital, we sat there for hours waiting because I wasn't going to die, and there was someone there who got stuck under a running lawn mower, so he went first. I left there at about 1am, after getting 14 stitches. That was crazy.

There are other moments that were a hell of a lot more fun, but I remember that one the best.
