Anyone play it yet? How is it?

 

I own it for PS2. It's the best Mortal Kombat ever......which is a good thing if you like mortal Kombat. Yes....one finishing move per character kinda sucks, but so what...most fighting games (if any) have no finishing moves at all......let alone the amounts of blood MKDA has.

 

I've actually heard its pretty good, although Im a SF kid and always will be... maybe I'll rent it for GC...

I got it on PS2 I love it but then again I have always loved MK...My only problems are that there is only 1 finish each and they are all pretty lame with the exception of sonyas (worth renting the game just to see that alone) The other problem is unlocking the new characters takes a while cuz U gotta save up "Koins" U get from beating the game and then unlock secrets with the Koins (over 600 Koffins 2 unlock) Its Awsome other than that and I finally got them all unlocked!

I rented MK deadly alliance for Xbox and I think it pretty well redeams the series

 

The only thing I don't like about the game is the way they switched the controls. I liked the old skool high punch, low punch, etc. Now you can't put together a simple strategy without remembering a different combination for each character just to get a low kick.

Other than that, I like the multiple styles, and WEAPON styles! very cool!
