Did anyone else catch it last night? I stayed up until around 5:30 watching it. All I have to say is DAMN!!!!! Scientists said it was viewable from anywhere in the country. And that it was a once in a 100 years kind of thing. I'm glad I got to see it, because it truly was an amazing site. At one time, there were at least a thousand shooting stars flying all over the place. eek.gif
Man...if every time you wished on a flying star, and if it came true.....I would be loving life right now! *lol* But maybe my luck will change..and at least one of those wishes will!
Anyway....it was good stuff to see. Something I won't forget for a very long time! wink.gif

damn I missed it....I was too drunk wandering around baltimore all night, eventually ending up at some girls house I met at a bar. Not a bad trade off for a meteor shower, but I would've loved to have seen it =-/
I saw it too. I was tired so I didn't stay up till 5am, actually I had thought that the best time was starting at 2am, it actually it changed to 3am. Little bummed.
What made this so great is that it will be the same next year except that there will be a full moon next year so you wound be able to so so much. Last year they could see 300 "falling stars" per an hour. This year it was 5,000 per hour. Next year it's suposed to be like 100 per hour. Then nothing until the year 2006.
It was definetly interesting.
