Killing yourelf or another adult is one thing. But shooting a 1 year old baby is messed up beyond words. 
Off-Duty Cop Kills Man, Baby Before Shooting Self: Sources
An off-duty police officer shot to death her 1-year-old son and a man before taking her own life in a Brooklyn home early Monday, authorities said.
Police responded to the home on East 54th Street in Flatbush after receiving reports of shots fired and, after a brief standoff with authorities, the officer killed herself and the others, law enforcement sources said.
Authorities said the officer was in her early 40s and the man was in his 30s. The relationship between the adults wasn't immediately clear.
All three victims died of gunshot wounds, authorities said.
The investigation is ongoing.
