I was staying up in the Brentwood/plasiades area. Only 10 mins away from Santa Monica beach. It was an awesome vacation. You should of went to the beach, the water was so warm.

First of all, the in and out in the first pic cracked me up cuz the arrow kind of looks like a cock, haha. Next, you have to wonder how many people have taken that pic pretending to hold up the rock, and last, SCERW STANDING OUT OVER THE CANYON LIKE THAT! Nutty bastards!

Seriously though, awesome little trip there. Nice pics bro.

Yeah, no el pollo locos or in-n-outs here, so I got a pic to tease some local friends. It was funny, a few of the cliff edge pictures didn't bother me, but some of them had me sweating bullets. When you look over the edge and see open aire for several hundred feet straight down, it can made your head spin. Especially when a wind comes down the canyon and blows past you. It creates a bit of a sucking feeling, pulling you in. wacko.gif

I was only nervous hanging over the Grand Canyon in one spot. For some reason I'm not scared of heights on cliffs or in trees and things but I'm scared of heights on bridges and stuff.

Sounds like a nature vs. man made thing. I'm not biased. I hate heights no matter how they got there, lol.

Yeah, it's pretty much all man made heights for me but natural ones (which are generally a lot less safe) don't bother me.

I was wondering how I would do after I fell off the cliff on Whidbey Island earlier this year but it wasn't bothering me.

It was funny, 'cuz I'm just the opposite. I don't mind artificial heights (much), but natural heights bother me more. rolleyes.gif

Oh well. I put that pic of me sitting on the outcropping looking out over the Grand Canyon as the background on someone else's work computer. wink.gif
