I'd like to take the time to salute all you vets out there...especially those who made the supreme sacrafice. I have a couple of family members/ close friends who are Vietnam vets so this means something to me. What are you guys gonna (or already did) do today? I went to Padre Island with my wife yesturday, in her truck, and boy was it packed!!! Cars were getting stuck all over the place!! I wish I had my digital camera to show you all the Hondas that got stuck..lol

Thanks for all those that have served HONORABLY.

You've done more for the country than 99.8% of the population of this great land.

Kiss a Veteran today.

I drove back from Alabama today. Yesterday I had a nice talk with my wifes great uncle who served in the Pacific during WWII. I talked to him a little about the two swords he brought back, one of which almost took his head off in the fox hole. Poor guy has been very humbled lately as he is getting older and needs help going to the bathroom and doing all of lifes daily tasks.

just remember this isn't verteran's day. It's Memorial Day. To honor those that gave their life for this country. The ones that made it home have a day later in the year. Yesterday was for those that never made it back or made it back with a flag drapped over them.
