I'm curious what the demographics are for the members here. The poll is private, nobody else can see who voted. I'm just curious who is visiting our site, owning a Hyundai, and where they are from.

Would you consider buying an alternative energy vehicle in the Hyundai line up if it were available within 5 years? Electric Vehicle, Hydrogen, Fuel Cell, CNG, Diesel, or other option?

I would be interested in getting the wife a Hydrogen powered vehicle if filling stations became readily available. They've popped up all over the place for electric vehicles here in Nashville. Local malls and grocery stores even have them. Hydrogen can go as far as current gasoline and take just as long to fill up... not like charging stations that take a minimum of 20 minutes for a shorter range.

The wife and I each drive 25-33 miles each way for work. Except for the Tesla, and perhaps the Volt, I can't own the current electric vehicle options simply because of range.

I like my gas powered car, thanks. It goes vroom. lol.

I also only drive like 10-15 minutes to work each way M-F.

I can't wait for mainstream performance electric cars.

Personally, I'm down for some turbo diesel. I'll leave the fuel economy for the wife

CNG is awesome, and hydrogen would be cool.

There's a handful of electric cars that are cool: Tesla Roadster is probably top of that list, followed by this Scion IQ EV only with the AM Cygnet Body (could give a damn about the interior.) Flame all you want, I have a thing for the uly duckling. I'd even rock Mistu I or Fiat 500e

Hybrids only if it's a Fisker or a Porsche. PERIOD. No exceptions.

Though I do love the CRZ body, I would gut the engine bay and swap in something that burns dinosaur corpses.

no GTR hybrid for you? I'd rock a Tesla or Fisker, but... the iQ?

Not a fan of the R35 I think its a damn good car, but for my money a well modded R32 any day of the week.

I'm a little for thinking so, but I'd take the slower, more expensive but far easier to mod 911 turbo even.
