Well when I first joined RDtiburon I was in between jobs and picked up the car for $400bucks. Not knowing what I was getting into besides a clutch. I thought cheap car cheap fix. Now I have this endless LOVE for this car!!!
I made little progress at the beginning but after making the decision to drop the money and buy a new tranny 2mths after the clutch. I started researching and found this site and have been addicted to it ever since... I might not post much but read new post daily and have learned so much from this site. I've gotten a few part's (CAI,Tail lights,Rims,Strut-bar) And I'm in the process of getting more.
But back to the between jobs I was a CM3 in the US NAVY SEABEE'S ........HOoRah!!!! I've been thru quite a few job's until I found my nitch. A friend of mine called me up a few mth's ago and said that his boss was looking for a flatbed tow driver and possibly more and set me up for a interview....Well after talking to the owner of this fairly large auto body/mechanic shop. I landed a job as a mechanic 40hrs+ and on call towing...Ok cool then he asked me if I wanted to goto class to become a licensed vehicle inspector for the state of Mass. and he'd pay...Wellllll I said HELL yes.
That was 3mths ago and I am now licensed. I noticed when I first started we had a 97 tib fx in the back lot. After bothering my boss

I need the corner signal bulb and the fitting that attaches to the bulb (might as well just take everything from the bulb to the wires and cut off as much as you can)
Oh and if you could get me a trunk light with some of the wiring thatd be cool too.

my tib cost me $800 tongue.gif all i did was replace a starter, $800 with 60k on it, came with headers uninstalled.
could i get the dust cap off of the passenger side headlight.
what color was the tib? what was the damage like?
