I may get myself another tib this weekend. There's some body work needed on the passenger side...
Why always on the passenger side?
Anywho, it's a '97 with 240 K + kms but they only want $200, so I'm thinking "Summer project car"
If I DO get it, I'll post pics.

Sounds like fun, if I had the money, tools, and experience, I'd definitely go for it. Any ideas on the best way to get experience? sounds like a "duh" question, but i have no friends with alotta mechanical experience, besides body work, nor do I have a wench to pull motors, my dad has worked on cars, but that was "back in the day"

honestly, just do stuff, my dad doesnt even change his own oil (I do it now lol) and up until very recently none of my friends were gear heads, get yourself a basic set of wrenches and a 3/8s ratchet and some sockets and try stuff, do something basic: take the resonator off the stock airbox, put on a strut bar, stuff like that. It really isn't that hard, just be patient, think things out and then ask specific answereable questions. As long as we can see youre actually putting forth an effort people will be willing to hold your hand until you start figuring things out.

^^^Absolutely!! I've found that, along with an active desire to learn and search, the tiburon is one of the more user friendly sport compacts out there. I have a friend that had a RH impreza and he couldn't do crap with it.
