i'll have to say Number 1, cuz the other two just got cornier cuz you know the camera style and the fight sequences. Number 2 has the best soundtrack IMO - it's original.

i think I could have done without seeing the 2nd or 3rd, hence my vote for 1st.

I agree with MrPSXplyr, I liked the first one. The second was kind of hard for me to follow for some reason. The third... I fell asleep in the middle of it. The only move that ever beat the original in my oppinion was T2.

Matrix 1 is awesome and I think it will become a classic. Matrix 2 was an okay action movie. Matrix 3 blew chunks, was boring, and didn't make any sense - thankfully I only rented that one.

i will be brutally honest and say i haven't seen any of them in their entirety. i saw the first one complete drunk, and didn't understand a thing going on. i've seen most of the 2nd one, but never all the way through...always walking in during it when it's on the VCR at my work. and 3rd one? why watch that if i haven't seen the others. i may get with the program and sit infront of the tv and watch 'em all...

The first, I'd have to say, hands down. Each of them have their own merits, but the first is very original. The second has good fight scenes and the third has some killer cg, but the first will always be my choice.

I'm all for the first one. The second was ok, and the third was just over done.
