1 tsp. garlic powder
Salt and pepper
2 lbs. extra-lean beef tenderloin (9% fat), sliced thin
6 slices (1 oz. each) part-skim

In a large skillet coated with nonstick cooking spray, sauté onions, bell peppers and mushrooms over medium heat. Add garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste; stir to combine. Transfer mixture to a small bowl, cover and set aside. In the same skillet, pan-fry the sliced tenderloin until brown but not crispy. Add vegetable mixture back to skillet; mix well. Place cheese on meat-vege-table mixture and heat until slightly melted. Spoon atop split rolls.
Side dish: To ramp up the carbs for further mass-building, serve with a baked potato.

We were talking about recipes in the shoutbox here are the two I was talking about:

8oz. Cream Cheese
16oz Sour cream
(2) Packs Taco Seasoning
1lb. Ground Beef
Shredded Cheddar cheese
Lettuce
Tomato
Black Olives
Optional: Onions, Hot peppers

Mix cream cheese, sour cream and one taco seasoning.
Make hamburger with taco seasoning like normally would for tacos and let cool to room temp.
Dice Vegetables and shred lettuce.

Layer meat on bottom, sour cream mixture, vegetables, and top with cheese.

Serve cold with chips

Buffalo Chicken Dip:

(2) 8oz. Cream Cheese
3/4 cup Franks Red Hot, Hot sauce
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
(4) Pieces boneless/ skinless chicken breast.

1. Set cream cheese out to get soft.
2. Boil chicken until done.
3. Cool chicken then shred it.
4. Mix all ingredients together in a crock pot or similar cooker.
5. Stir every few min until everything is melted together and mixed well.

Serve warm.

Anyone have some good stuff for dips and other snacks?

my favorite, the ultimate man food.

Quesadilla

ingredients:
2 tortillas
a bunch of cheese and other junk

instructions:
put 1 tortilla on plate
throw a bunch of cheese and other junk on top
place 2nd tortilla on top of that
throw it in the microwave for approximately 2 minutes

enjoy

This should be used only for special occasions. Most of my other recipes involve unwrapping something and sticking it in the microwave for 3 minutes.

Today I put on my chef's hat and came up with a great recipe.

DTN Dog:
you will need
1 tortilla
1 hot dog
mayonnaise
ketchup.
Corona with lime.

Put hot dog in microwave for 1 minute
Place hot dog on tortilla
add mayo and ketchup.
Wrap the whole thing up
enjoy with corona and lime.

CHEESE STUFFED MORREL MUSHROOMS

go to your favorite river and gather morrel mushrooms. best time of the year is usually right around easter when you have 2 to 3 good hot muggy days.
since morrel's are hollow on the inside, cut them in half and fill this area with grated parmesan, regatta, and monzerella cheese

I use the bigger sized mushrooms i find to make this meal, usually 3 to 5 inches tall.
batter them in a crushed up cracker, flour, and garlic powder.

place in a frying pan w/ 1/4 stick of butter, flip when a golden brown and cook the other side.

congrats, you have a nice side dish perfect for a fat steak and a salad.
