I really liked it! I'd say A- because if you compare it to most of the other movies out now, it is much better than anything. I think the treepeople being slow was fine, added to the story.

The real question I need answered is: How well does it stack up to "The Fellowship of the Ring"?
All too often the second installment doesn't do the first movie any justice {as in the case of STAR WARS}.
Any way, I hope to check it out regardless of anyone elses reviews.

The thing is, these aren't really installments or sequels... the movie was filmed in parts, it ought to carry on just like the first part, especially since they were filmed concurrently. The real question I need answered is: How well does it stack up to "The Fellowship of the Ring"?

I haven't seen it yet, though...

I'm probably the only person here that hasnt seen the first one, so, I guess I have to see that one first...
Yeah, you HAVE TO, no doubt. They don't give you ANY kind of background.

Yeah, that's what I was reading in the paper. THe producers/director were trying to decide how to begin the Two Towers; should there be a prologue, should there NOT be a prologue, should there be a recap, should there NOT be a recap, and so on and so forth.
What the article said was that they decided to create the feeling that at the end of the 'Fellowship' you stepped out for popcorn, and a year later you sat back down tp pick up where you left off.
I'm wondering when all three movies are complete, if they'll be able to edit them onto one {or two} DVD's so you can watch it at home in one 6 hour sitting...
