Why not just drive? You are in PA now so North-East can't be to far away.

I think he means "will ship a car currently in the North East," not "will ship to the North East."

Right?

Well, here's the thing,
I got this car in New York City.
and I was supposed to be going over there and picking it up this week, and my friend took of work this week so he could go with me to drive my car back,
(I am on the western border of PA)

now, the lady (the one that i bought the car from) tells me i can't get the car this week, i have to get it next wednesday.
and my friend can't get of work then,
so i have no one to go over there with me to get the car.

i was going to try to have the car shipped,
and i did find some car shipping companies, but the cheapest i could get was $500.00 sad.gif

so thats outa the question,

i think my next idea is going to be to take a bus there to get the car, but i don't know yet. but i gots to figure something out because she leaves for Cali next Friday.
and she will only let me get it next wed or thurs. before she leaves.

Go to www.movecars.com Make alot of inquiries I got prices from 1800.00 to 850.00 and dont even bother with the covered transporters they are way high. I had a 59 Chevy Apache shipped from L.A to Madison Wisc. for 850.00. Sorry ICE, but if you have to get it by wed. better take the bus.

Take the bus or find another friend.

Another thing to remember with those auto-transport companies is that some of them contract out. so the contract that you sign with the company may be different than the contract the company signs with the sub-contractor to actually move your vehicle.
