Jer, you shouldn't be going to "all ages raves", if you want to party and get the trance experience you should be going to music conferences, they call em' by different things. In major cities with a big trance/mucis following like LA, Seattle, Chicago, Vancouver, and even Phoenix and Albuquerque... That's one thing I miss so much about Seattle the WMC (winter music conference), annual UMC, and various live sets in town every damn night. It's a wonderful city to party in all damn night long.

I'm so pissed I missed my chance to kick it with TCM! My sis got to spend all night in Seattle with them and a few of her friends. She calls me and says "Guess who I just witnessed get into a heated debate about the real underlying reason New Zealand is recycling?" and I'm like, what the f*** you haven't called me in months and then she's tells me it was Ken and Scott from The Crystal f***in Method! Vegas was my first electronic music CD purchase like 10+ years ago..

why is she doing blue steel? I dunno..

oh and if you're familiar with LastFM you can find a lot of good shit on there you'll never hear anywhere else..

Ehhh, go read the thread. I haven't been to a rave at all since like 97. I've been to 2 all ages shows, the one I posted above with Kaskade, at a dance club here in ABQ, and BT. Both were in the last year and a half, to be able to getmy son into a show or 2 with us, he loves the scene.

I know what Music Conferences are, but if they aren't close, I'm not going, and there hasn't been one in ABQ since I've been here. There was one in SF (Santa Fe) last year but we couldn't make it because of Nopi Denver, and there was one in Denver last Halloween but we couldn't go at the last second because my son got a shitty ass report card and was acting wierd, family first.

As for TCM, they are without a doubt, the best musical experience I've ever seen. EVER. I've had the opportunity to sit with Scott and Ken 3 times now, and just TALK. Talk about music, drinking, women, all sorts of stuff. 2 of the coolest cats you'll ever meet.

i was born with dance. Dance mix Vol. 4 was my first ever CD 15 years ago.

I don't like BT's new things. And Oceanlabs new material isn't too hot either.

Woah! Never would've thought REDZ would listen to techno! I just picked up a whole bunch of Paul Van Dyk CDs... I like ASOT 2006 CD quite a bit... I'll have to check out his radio stuff.

I don't. Techno sucks.

I listen to Trance, some Dance stuff, House/Hard House, Chill, Ambient, Jungle, DnB, BnB, and some others. That's all I can think of right now.

Techno, blah.
