Lg Chocolate
I'm looking on buying a new cell phone and actually looking at the LG Chocolate, if I buy it online I'll be paying 99.99 + 2yr subscription with verizon wireless, since I don't know too much about cellphones I was wondering if it was worth it. Is it a good phone + mp3 player? There is an option that I have to select when buying, "V CAST option" can somebody explain me this?
Thanks
Thanks
I do not like it at all. It has very slow response and the touch sensitive buttons are horrible. Phone is buggy and slow. I do love lg as a company but this phone isn't as good as their other models. Do you already have verizon or are you switching?

Found this page for Visa card holders, you end up paying $0.01 for the phone with 2yr plan
If you really want that phone pizza hut use to have a special lol buy a large tray get the phone free with activation. sprints lg fusic has more featurs and the iphone from cingular should be good. but from verizon just goto a stand and play with it first
The V Cast is only worth it depending on what you plan on doing with your phone. Its 15$ a month (or at least in Nevada it is) and you get free internet and streaming news/music videos. Also, if you have Yahoo messanger, AIM, or MSN you get to use it for free as well. Just depends on if your an extremely busy business man that is always traveling. I'm going to cancel mine cause I hardly use the streaming news videos and occacionally I use the AIM.
Just get a phone that will be more towards what you will use it for. Also, if you go with Verizon (whom I'm with) get the 4$ monthly insurance. You get new phones, sometimes you have to pay 50$ for a deductable but thats 50$ for a 300$ phone. Trust me, insurance is well worth it. If you plan on jumping in a lake fully clothed with cell phone on smile.gif. Or you want to test a cinder block vs a phone -- the block has won every time.

I have this phone, very happy with it so far (3 months). Got it on a introductory deal FREE with 3yr contract. Camera is good and has a flash/cam light. Sound is good but doesnt really have a loud ringer.
Its not a bad phone, but the keys are so sensitive..I kept trying to hit one button and I kept hitting another. It bothered me lol..
The lg vx8600 is a nice flip phone with keys that arent sensitive..
