So, I installed my race coilovers last weekend and afterward the cruise control didn't work. Weird, I thought but pressed on and once the car was all back together it still didn't work.

So I'm looking at wiring diagrams, poking this, proding that, starting to get used to the idea that I'm going to have to live without CC. Four days later, I think, "better start at the beginning"...and hit the CC switch on the dash, which is normally on all the time but somehow got turned off. Ta-dah! All fixed.

Learn from me, check the simple things first. oops.gif

That is indeed one of the best trouble shooting tips. It goes along with the KISS method. I know what you were going through. One of my buddies replaced a battery on his motorcycle and thought that he needed a new starter because the bike wouldn't crank. He was starting to tear the pannels off of the bike when I got there and asked him if he switched on the Run button. We had a good laugh about it. I don't think we would have been laughing, though, if he would have gotten much farther on tearing it apart.

See, this is where my problem differs. THe switch IS on, I've tried to cycle it and do several other things to get my CC back up, but nothing.

The wires are connected to the switch right? Just asking because if you take your dash off you have to disconnect it. Does the light come on?

No idea if the wires are connected, I've never taken the dash off.

The light comes on, but the actual "Cruise" light doesn't.

Tank, you turn on the CC button on the dash, get to a speed above 25 that you want to hold, and press the button on the end of your right branch.

The Cruise on the dash comes on when it kicks in. I know it took me a few tries to figure it out, but I rarely use it.
