Laptop Hard Drive Question

alright, laptop HDD died last month. Haven't had time with school and work to search for it online. I ripped out my old HDD and got the model #. The 40GB model link below is what I have. Can anyone tell me if the 80GB model would work with my computer, assuming the BIOS and MOBO can handle it?
