Moving to Off Topic. Also, if you do a search, you'll see a similiar thread like was started as well awhile back. There's 2 girls on the forum (Xorro, Tibgrrl) that ride, and Random is an avid bike enthusiast as well as many other people.

GSX-R 750 is NOT a weak bike! If your a novice, this bike will kill you (most people. There are some people that just go and buy high cc bikes for the first time and master it pretty well)!

I just picked up my new bike three week's ago it's Honda CBR600F4,awsome bike very smooth power band and handles like a dream. I agree with
MaierApril don't to big of a bike for your fist,my first was my kawi ZX900R very fast and kinda heavy almost killed myself on that thing, I have the scars to prove it plus some titanium rods and screws in my back,hip and leg I was acting stupid doing 100 down the street when some lady pulled out of her driveway right in front of me, I went airborne into a telephone pole OUCH!!!!

 

I just cracked my frame on my bike, but here's what I was riding:

S&M handle bars
Sun "Barely Legal" Rims
Random tires
DK Peg Bundy Pegs
Profile 3 piece crank
DK Pedals
Tektro brakes.
And other goodies. Sending the frame back to get the new 2003 DK S.O.B.
