I've Got The Mod Bug And Can't Stop.
Hmm must agree lots of effort put in. And that "wrong" side lmao.gif of the car sides does add to it. Nice work man and if u like it keep up. I especially like that engine paint. I can't be bothered with it so I have to admire what other people do.
Wow, your engine bay is REALLY clean man. Props on that.
However, I dunno about some of that other stuff .. the chrome air vents and a/c controls don't really fit right for our RDs (since they're made for GK's aren't they?), and usually look like ass.
I also have to wonder why you chose blue neons and seat covers when your car is red??? shrug.gif

Valve and spark plug cover smile.gif
Header painted??? I dont like it much, but more how will that look in a month.
Ebrake I think it was to much.
Floor mats and neon right there is nice. smile.gif
Steering wheel cover 02.gif Just get a nice leather sew on.
Cone filter: change that out for a CAI.
Dash and pedals look nice.
Seat covers 02.gif
When people said it was ricey was probally because of the mods to make your car "look" faster. Also that there was basically no performance upgrades there.
If you change the steering wheel cover and take off the seat covers. Also do i/h/e the car should be really nice.

Engine bay looks pretty damned nice man. What kind of paint did you use? I agree that the headers won't look like that after a few weeks, but you've done some nice stuff on the car.
Did you paint those hoses in your engine bay?
Wow, I like some of the interior. I think the boots don't look so hot, look like they were made from some old stripper's outfit. LOL
The ebrake handle isn't bad, but why only ONE diamond plate mat in the car?
Also, those seat covers were what I was talking about. I'd go stock until you can afford some nice seats or to get yours reupholstered, they are loose and such. Also, I think the steeringwheel cover is a bit much.
The paint doesn't look so bad, and the chrome ring around the shifter, not so bad.
Where are the chromed vents?
And what AC controls are you going to try to put on there?
BTW, much better with the typing.
I personally like more of the "Performance with style" stuff. You know, stuff that makes the car run better, while making it look better at the same time.

4. While not ricey, where did you put the CONE filter? Right on the MAF? Bad choice. Good way to ruin your MAF, and also you are losing performance by sucking in HOT engine compartement air. You also should NEVER put a filter right on the MAF because the air is very turbulent coming into the MAF and will throw off your readings. If it's on your MAF, where is your IAT sensor?
Looks like he is MAP based. Im liking the engine bay a lot. looks real nice and hopefully it will stay looking decent

Did you pull the engine to paint it? I would really like to do something like that to my car and have time. But not the resources to pull out the engine. Can you tell us?
Also, I like the interior, but you need to hide the neons, they are kinda distracting when they're not just a dull glow.

Its funny, REDZ started ripping on him about his MAF when he was saying power mods will come later cause of too much テつ」テつ」テつ」テつ」's.
When they hell is the last time anyone who worries about テつ」テつ」テつ」テつ」's needed to worry about a MAF. Never I'm thinkin.
And Rice is cool, I know this, it makes me lots of money, hehe.

Was anything removed & sanded prior to painting? It looks as though you taped off certain areas & just started spraying.
It looks alright now but you are going to wreck the paint the next time you need to remove any bolts, nuts or clamps. Some glossy paint would've been easier to keep clean too... everything looks matte.

Firstly, a big thankyou to all you guys for your coments, good and bad.
I know there are a few dodgy bits with my car, but these are just quick fixes if you like.
Neons on show , could'nt seem to get them to stay just behind the lip just at the bottom of the dash.
Yes the engine paint is a matt finish, this is what i wanted, its different.
i only pulled a few things from the engine when i painted it, mostly the hose's.
Boots that look like strippers outfit , i like that Redz, again a quick fix, i mailed you some days ago if you remember about the ones you sell, i will be ordering from you soon.
The hose's are painted but with a paint designed for plastic and rubber at very high temp, this is the same colour that's been used on the engine only that can is only for metals at very high temp.
only one shiney matt as the other got wrecked.
pics taken before chrome vents went in.
A/C knobs coming from KSpec, they are for the newer tibs, i did mention last night there is a DIY that one of the membershad posted on this, i thought they looked cool and a good finish.
Things like engine mods for more power will be done eventualy thats where the big bucks come into play and i aint got big bucks, after all whats the piont of a car looking like it goes some but then you get thrashed by a old banger, not that this has happened.
Right then i think thats covered everything.
Again thanks for your coments, good and bad, they are noted.
