so far i've-
blacked out my windows
blacked out my tail lights and 3rd brake light
upgraded headlights
painted dash and center console
chrome shifter and hand brake
blue seat covers
blue neons and leds behind air vents and in footwells
chrome air vents
white neons just under that little gap between bumper and hood.
removed resinator and fitted cone filter
painted engine and pipes.

on order-
grill mesh, i'm opening the mouth part of the bumper up to make it more noticable
removing fogs and putting mesh there as well
some more neons to put into speakers.
A/C controls from Kspec

the big jobs like lowering and engine mods for more power will come later as these are going to cost lots of テつ」テつ」テつ」テつ」's.
anyway until the stuff on order comes i can't think of anything else i can do, its driving me mad, has any one got any ideas of things i could do next to my Tib, that wont cost an arm and a leg or even free like when i removed the resinator, i feel lost when i'm not doing anything with it,
deffo got the bug.

Mmm any one ever seen the film Christine.

Yeah, most of the stuff listed is a bit ricey.

Chrome air vents?

LOL

BTW, please start using some punctuation.

a bit ricey, what dya meen, i've seen loads of tibs on here with things like blacked out tail lights, neons ,painted dash n console and chrome bits inside them , oh yeh , and leds behind speaker covers.
Dare i mention the A/C controls from Kspec have chrome/ silver on them.

mines not much different that them.
so why does it make mine rice!!!

as for punctuation i cant always be bothered, i cant type very fast to start with so it saves a bit of time, besides i did'nt think it would bother any one as we have probably all left school.

just looked in diy bits, and i found loads simalar to what i've done or thought about even leds in lisence plates not that i'd go that far.

Well, you guys can just look at the rules and see the way the site is run. This site is for all of us that want to learn more about our cars and to share our hobby.

1. Use punctuation and proper grammer. This isn't school, we aren't your teachers, but you'll get next to NO HELP at all if you type like you are 2 years old. It's a fact. If you type clearly, with some education, folks here will respond, help you, and answer your questions. 90% of the members here won't even bother to READ the thread if it's written like the first post in here.

2. This is the internet. We get our ideas, questions, and thoughts across by using the written word. If you want to ensure that folks understand what you are saying and not have 10 posts per thread of folks asking "WTF are you asking", then type properly.

If you can't be "bothered" to type correctly, come back when you can.

Sorry, I'm an OLD internet user, and I type correctly and about 110 words per minute. Typing correctly, clearly, and consicely, without using LEET SPEAK, are rules of this site, and are here for a reason.

As for the "What's ricey" part, I'd say the following.

1. Seatcovers. They never fit right, and usually look silly as hell.

2. NEONS. I have a few cold cathode tubes in my car, 2 to be exact, but they are tiny and you cannot see the tubes at all. Neons are HUGE, and you usually cannot hide them well. Show some pics, we'll see how ricey it is. Rice isn't necessarily a BAD thing, but it's in the eye of the beholder.

3. Chromed air vents. If you used what I think you did, the little chrome slip over things, they look silly most of the time, and MOST people trim them like CRAP and they are all rough looking. Again, post pics and everyone has a better idea of what you did.

4. While not ricey, where did you put the CONE filter? Right on the MAF? Bad choice. Good way to ruin your MAF, and also you are losing performance by sucking in HOT engine compartement air. You also should NEVER put a filter right on the MAF because the air is very turbulent coming into the MAF and will throw off your readings. If it's on your MAF, where is your IAT sensor?

If you don't know what those things are, please search.

Don't get me wrong, you've got a good start, and are doing plenty of nice things to your car for sure. Everyone appreciates hard work, but without pics, it's hard to tell the quality.

ALso, what AC controls did you get? The GK tiburon ones do NOT fit properly on the RD's.

first off i'm not here to full out with anyone.
its hard to type fast when you can only use 1 thumb and 2 fingers on one hand.
i finnished school with a very high pass rate, not that you can tell from the dodgy spelling.
the filter is a cone filter its fitted to the large black pipe and the sensor was carfully fitted into that.
as i've not been using much punctuation i have not had any one ask me what i'm talking about.

At the end of the day i love my car and love seing what other people are doing to thiers. Thats why i registered when i found you guys and to get tips and advice and hopefully i can help the odd person with anything as well along the way.

Well, I gotta say, it does look sweet. Nice work on the painting, I see u spend lots of time doing stuff to your car, nice work.

I would also use seat covers, but not for show but too keep my seats form getting durty every day at work since i work in a construction company as a heavy equipment operatore, and i get very dirty, well, not that much but the seats are all dirty, right now i dont bother on putting some on since the seats are stock and i'm planning on switching them pretty soon for some Torino 2 seats and I will def. use seat covers for those for when i get out of work, but when i go to college and just to cruise around i will be taking them off to show the sexyness of the seats.

Anyways, great job and keep at it!! fing02.gif

It's kinda wierd for me looking at the interior backwards... I like it
