The last week has been extremely crazy for me! I found out on May 13, 2010 that I was accepted into Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences-Vermont Campus for fall 2010!! This was the college I wanted to go to the most! There were 1400 applications for only 70 seats in the class!! I did not even think I stood a chance at getting in. Also a month ago, I was chosen by the vice president of Delaware County Community College to be the only student speaker at the Grand opening ceremony for their new science building. I was chosen out of 28,000 students! I presented my speech on May 14th. I made the audience laugh and cry. At the end, the entire audience was on their feet. I was the only speaker out of 10 speakers to get a standing ovation. Below is the online publication of my newspaper article.

I just finished up my spring semester and I am graduating with an Associates Degree in Science on May 20th. However, I have two summer classes yet then I am on my way off to Vermont for the next 4 years!! My college is located in Colchester, Vermont just off of Lake Champlain. I cant wait to begin this next stage in my life. I have never been this excited about anything.
