The headgaskets alone probably costs more than my car is worth..

 

Too many cylinders.

 

The split exhaust housing for the turbos is..........wow. Most of this stuff is completely custom. No wonder it costs so much. And how the hell does it fit in the car?

 

The thought process of the Bugatti Veyron was to build a 1001 HP engine and then build a car around that. That's how it fits into the car. The car was designed around the engine.

 

actually the car produces over 3000 hp but 2/3 of that is heat. they had to redesign the exhaust stacks in the engine testing room cause they almost melted down the entire plant the first time they took this motor to WOT,lol.

damn thing has 10 radiators which in themselves have over 150 hours in build time. wouldn't it be fun to find a coolant leak with ten rads? eek!

discovery channel has a episode showing how it is built, simply crazy how everything is done on that car.
