Do you guys think another plane crash like 9/11 could happen in the US? I think they would probably be able to get maybe one plane to hit something but if there were any others, our military would scramble jets to shoot them down within minutes.

There are a lot of places closer to Libya that are higher priority targets. Israel obviously, but I wonder how much France would pay to not have a plane crashed there. They pay kidnap ransoms in the millions of dollars, maybe this would be real pay dirt. Then again, if you are a good muslim and just want to bring down western civilization, crashing into a few choice oil refineries nearby would pretty effectively do the job.
