Does she have three seperate phone lines, or are they using shared internet connection? If it is all going through one computer she may have a proxy set to block hotmail.com.

You can do like linksys does and recommend she call Best Buy's GeekSquad. It'll cost her, but it will get resolved.

Have her try to connect to Microsofts other websites (www.microsoft.com or www.msn.com).

Also, have her try using firefox to connect to the websites.

Does she have content advisor enabled?

Open IE, click Tools, Internet Options, Content, It's the top block.

Does she have hotmail listed in the restricted sites?

Open IE, click Tools, Internet Options, Security, Click on Restriced sites, then click the sites button. Ensure there is nothing in there.

Does she have cookies enabled? Hotmail will not allow you to access the page if you are blocking cookies. Tell her if she is using one of those cheap downloadable spyware utilities to turn it off.
