Episode 5 & 6 just aired in Japan on Aug 21st, and as 00Tibby points out the fansub versions should be out any day now. In fact overdue given how quick the others were fansubbed after they aired in Japan.

Unfortunately the airing schedule for these is VERY spread out so there are long waits between the pairs.

Ep 1 and 2 aired in Japan on April 17th
Ep 3 and 4 June 19
Ep 5 and 6 August 21
...

You see where this is going, basically 2 months between each pair of episodes. 14 eps in total so it's gonna be awhile before we can see them all.

i have the box set they sell on e-bay along with the english versions 1-6.

are they coming out with any more? the end that i saw, tak decided to become a pro driver since he graduated high school and his gorl goes to tokyo university.

That's what happens at the end of 3rd Stage (the movie), so to answer your question yes. We are talking about the 4th stage here, which comes after the movie. It follows Tak as he races for Project D, the team that Ryo Takahashi offered him a chance to join in the movie.

4th stage started airing this year, and while it has a slow schedule there will be a run of 14 eps in total, 2 released every 2 months. They are currently up to 5 & 6.

I got hooked on the manga as well, and currently it isn't translated into english as far as the anime version is for the story. So I'm anxious about both of them.

I started to watch ep 5 in the raw Japanese, but my handle on the japanese language has seriously gone downhill in the years since I was in Japan. So yeah, I'm really wanting those fansubs of ep 5 & 6.

Yeah AnimeSuki is great. Only thing is you gotta watch it fast sometimes. As soon as they find out an Anime has been licensed in North America they yank the torrent listing.
