does anyone know anything about dweet's tib in terms of engine upgrades? this damn car just smokes my other tib, i mean night and day. I wouldn't think my other tib being a auto would make that much difference cause basically the only differnce that i know of is manual, ssautochrome header, and stage3 clutch. if he has done anything else please let me know.

I would ask him, but he is in the big sandbox right now for at least 5 more months.

the fact your car is an auto says it all. believe me, the auto tib's are alot slower then the manual's.

 

gawd if that is the case then sounds like my auto to manual swap is coming sooner than i thought it was. at least I can switch between cars. do they just have super high gearing in the auto's or what?

Dweet hasn't been very active in quite some time, so any recent add-ons are most likely unknown. He should have given you a rundown of what the car had.

He may have some head work done, or P&P. Does the IM or TB look stock? I would say he probably had it bored and matched. He was going for the performance side after he ripped off the decals and wheels.

 

Yeah, I'll seccond that on the auto thing. I had a buddy who had the same setup as me when I first got my tib and installe a CAI. His was auto, mine was manual. The auto is somewhat guttless.

dweet has one of them pyscho tibs, with like more power than most. i have driven in that tib before and it was faster than mine at the time, with roughly the same mods.. very nice car.. he helped me put my suspension on my car, and i bought my body kit from him.. great guy..
