Importfest 2002
Hey whats up man.
I was there with a group of friends. I went there to mostly see my friend's work.
He does custom airbrush (DOMINIQUE DESIGN) and had several cars there in the show and a booth with nuff models.
He painted the Hummer that was there on the upper level with the tiger on it and subs in the front.. That was my favorite. However I thought the cars at the APC booth area had best paint. That car I forget what it was with a $$ money paint job and the matching money int. Wicked job. It was painted in California.
Last year the show was better. More cars, and better cars. At times I could have sworn I was at a Honda dealership. So many Civics and accords.
A preyyy lousy show I thought, Darknites was way better.
we noticed so many cars at Importfest that were not show ready or even worthy. I paid to get in to see the heavy hitters. They needed more show cars there.
coilovers, stickers, and a 10" sony sub should be outside the show.
whatever. They need to be more selective. Still there were not enough cars there.
I only saw one tib there, a silver one. I wanted to know who's it was & what it had but nobody was around.
respect to the owner.
I had a good time.
peace
I wish it was summer.....NOW
eek!

Ya I agree with you, there were too many cars that just weren't show reasy at all. There were two silver tibs there that looked real nice (one bbeing G Shark's), and an hatchback Elantra that had a sweet Audiobahn setup and interior job.
