I just recently went for a job interview and was asked if I knew how to do a pivot table. I had never had to do this before and looked extremely stupid for not knowing this so I recently made it a goal to figure some things out in excel, starting with a pivot table.



Does anyone have suggestions or thoughts on daily functions they use that might be of value to a new guy?



I'm finishing up my first year at my first job and I am looking to make myself as valuable as possible.
