I'd probably just mess it up if I tried to put it in myself, but does anyone know of any good Double Din (touchscreen or not) DVD players that will fit the tib? And where could I get them installed? Looking to spend around 800? Better if it's less smile.gif

none will fit the tib without modification. A JENSEN VM9021TS is an excellent CD/DVD/TV/IPOD/SD CARD/AM/FM/AV in and out player.

http://cgi.ebay.com/Jensen-VM9021TS-6-5-in...1QQcmdZViewItem

Shipped to your door for less then $500.

The modification to the trim ring and sterio.

ANY body shop should be able to do your radio surround if you show them the pictures I just posted... here's another one too. It should cost about $100 for them to do this. Maybe a bit more if you have them paint it instead of you painting it. Here's a pic they can use.

That should keep you in budget man!

Should be about $75 for them to respray it stock color of black. Let us know how it goes.

probly not. You have to cut the origonal dash, remove the notches from the trim ring, get the trim ring in there just right, glue it in place, use bondo to fill it up, then sand it down. It's basic body work stuff. It's really more the kind of thing you'd do in a body shop, not a sterio shop.

one more pic of the bondo-glass on the backside.

one of these days i'm going to post that in DIY mang....

I just shaved my corners a bit and put the ring behind the surround... it's not as clean but I really like the turn out of mine.
