Illegal to videotape cops -- Bill of Rights is now meaningless?
QUOTE
In response to a flood of Facebook and YouTube videos that depict police abuse, a new trend in law enforcement is gaining popularity. In at least three states, it is now illegal to record any on-duty police officer.
Cops now are arresting the public for "wire tapping" etc if we film them during an arrest or confrontation

What this article touches on is how the police are reacting to being held accountable for their behavior, and apparently they don't like it.
My feeling on it is this: No one is drafted in to being a police officer. So, if you can't handle extreme amounts of stress without becoming violent, or feel that officers are held to an unfair level of criticism, don't pursue it as a career. dunno.gif

Because of the fact that they are paid for by the citizens of that jurisdiction it should be one's legal right to video tape a police action. But if the officer is off-duty, the two-party consent law would still be in effect.
