I'm playing a bit of piano and guitar (I studied by myself).
And studied 1 year in music school playing drums, then I quit studying.

I decided to study piano in a school, so today I had 1st lesson and got my 1st homework.
Now it's difficult for me to hold hands correctly.
I also want to continue drums.

Can you bealive!!! I pay $6 a month for studying piano, 2 days a week (1 hour lessons)

thanx

Mang it's not that hard to study guitar. You just need time and patience (sp?). You study some passages, scales and play them increasing speed. Also study to build chords and scales. It's not difficult, i you want I can tell you how to do it.

I pay $0.75 for one hour lesson smile.gif

I know a year ago it was $0.50 for a lesson

Not bad!?!?...Thats incredible! Dang, over here for piano lessons your looking at like $12-$15/hour AT LEAST!
I play a little piano and Iv recently been learning bass.

Majiktib - Just learn some basic chords and get some tabs off the internet. Its so easy to teach yourself guitar. You can become fairly good without any lessons.

Majik, download program GuitarPro. Basically it's MIDI editor, but it's written in tabs. So it's very easy to play. It can also show MIDI file as tabs.

I have old 2.2 version (now is 5) and A LOT of tab files for it. So if you want I can send it to you.

lmao.gif how did I become the focus of this thread?

Nah, I'm good. I'd like to start playing again but I'll wait until after school. School + work + church + family/girl = no time for guitar.

Awesome!!! I was teaching myself the piano from the age of 4 up until 12-ish. At the age of 8, I could play a good amount of Beethoven's, Chopin's, and Mozart's piano pieces. I stopped teaching myself around the age of 12 since I was graduating 8th grade, going into High school, and just lost the interest. I can still play all the stuff I used to play though, but I know I can't get any better, lol. It's all easy! It's just a matter of focus and patterns.
