Marijuana is going to become legalized. I'll bump this thread when it becomes true. Give it time.

They will tax the bejesus out of it. Especially in the beginning, people will smoke and drive, and generate TONS of tickets and fines.
New business/shops/employment from the growth and sale of the plant.

Don't smoke it myself, but wouldn't really care if it were legal. I've always hung out with potheads, and they don't bother anyone.

I don't think it'll happen, but it'd be nice to get more income and also to keep the "nonviolent criminals" outta jail (which costs a bunch).

 

I don't smoke it (I'm immune to the fun effects) but I am for the legalization. I agree with busy that it won't happen though. Logistically it will be more than the govt is willing to bite into and it'll make the govt compete with the current bunch of pot growers price wise and the govt won't be able to price match.
