restarting now...
that appears to have worked. It's analyzing the hard drive now.

"File record segment 13 is unreadable"

if this works, I've got another hard drive sittin' around I'll have to copy over. That'll be fun, converting IDE to SATA. I hope my converter works.

Still not sure why they would have two open SATA slots that aren't usable. Doesn't make sense.
