Default I lost a dear friend of mine

in late 2009 i purchased a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder that had 52k miles on it from Minnesota.

I drove it across country.

I drove it 180 miles a day to school, then work, then school then work, then home

I drove it to:

Colorado, Wyoming, California, Nevada, Illinois, Texas, Florida, Atlanta, Tennessee, Missouri, North and South Dakota, Nebraska, Louisiana amoung other states.

i put 180+k miles on it since I bought it.

I lifted it 2" and put 33s under it.

I offroaded it many many many times

I totaled a Chevy Impala by literally driving over the top of it (small fender damage, new bumper look in the pic to see fender damage near headlight)

last week, on October 1st, 2017 it took it's last breath as it spun a bearing going 80 on the free way, strangely only 3 miles after it hit 240k miles.

Thank you Cathy the Pathy for the memories.....rest well my friend.

Saturday AM I sold the body to a mechanic buddy who promises me she will live again. I sure hope so.

Saturday PM I walked in and purchased a 2017 Focus ST (CPO, 8K miles)

not a fan of the color, but I got a hell of a deal (5k off new, certified, 3% financing, 4 oil changes, tinted windows)

I havent named it yet. It's got a "Nikki" vibe going to it. not sure yet. May she give me the comfort Cathy did.

I never struck you as a Focus person.

Surprised you didnt get another SUV or a truck since you enjoyed offroading.

It's a good car. I have many miles behind the wheel of an ST. It is the new SRT-4 though, watch out for the throngs of d-bags driving the other ST's.
