Well my car was rear-ended by a 93 Baretta on monday, which caused me to hit the Aerostar infront of me. The Baretta was going about 40kmh and my car was fully stopped. The insurance company will be looking at my car tomorrow (thursday) or on friday. Truth be told Im hoping they say its totaled because I know the car will not be the same no matter how much they fix it. The collision shop said they think its totaled so we will have to see.

Sorry for the quality of the pics, it was sunny. Also the rear end is much worse then the pic shows.

The front clip (I dont know what its called) that holds the radiator is all bent, the airbags went off, the windshield will need to be replaced, everything in the front of the engine bay was pushed back, and the rear bumper is messed up underneath the plastic cover...

Also I heard his tires skreetching before he hit me and I looked in my rearview and saw that he wasnt going to stop, so I braced myself and I was not hurt at all.

Sorry about your car but glad you're okay. You are probably right and it will be considered a write-off given the amount of damage and the age of the vehicle. The airbags alone are very costly to replace.

that sucks! pretty crasy though that he hit you in the rear end and it did more damage to the front. anyways its totaled. that alone will be like a few grand in body work, plus the airbags, it's shot.
