I got a new ride to toy around with. It is a Nissan NX2000. I know, shut up about the Nissan thing, it is an NX2000 and you don't see too many hooked up. It has the 140hp motor that the SE-R cars have in it. As far as performance for the car most 0-60 times I have seen have been around 6.9-7.5 and 1/4 mile time are always right on 15.6-15.9 stock. There is a great base to get parts for this car but not as much as most Nissans. I only payed $1000 dollars for the car so it was a great deal. I will post some pics of it just how I got it so you guys can watch it come along just like you will be able to with the Tib.
Oh yeah, here is a link to site to one that was featured in Turbo magazine with the kit that I am getting for it.
I love this car.

Bah...he bought an egg!
Just kidding dude! I wish they still made the NX2000. That car was cool. Small, hatchback...140 HP, only 2400 lbs. It has everything you need for a rice rocket....except aftermarket support!!
Getting parts for that puppy will be about as hard as getting parts for the tibby. Engine mods should be easier though. Nissan put that damn 2.0L engine in EVERYTHING just about...

BTW...I have an SCC article with a dude who put a japan spec Nissan 2.5 VVTi engine in a nx2000, then turbo'ed it. with an auto tranny.
If you want...I will scan in the article and send it to you.

Not that I could afford it but I would love to see it. I have actually found a LARGE number of companies that carry parts for the car. I have found very few body kits for it though. It is nice to be the same bolt pattern as a Honda because used wheels are everywhere now.

HAHAHAHAHA, I want everyone to listen REAl close in The Fast and the Furious when the Asian guys are in the garage asking about their missing motor. They ask where their Nissan SR20 motors are, thats my new toys motor. How cool was that to hear in The Fast and The Furious.

It needs a 5th gear synchronizer, seats reupholstered, and has one odd wheel. There are a few other minor problems to fix too. It is going to cost me $1500 to get it into NICE condition with some new wheels included. I've got good hookups around here. The seats are only going to cost $65 to get done. Well out of my pocket that is. I am doing an alarm/keyless/remote start for the trim shop owner. I will take some pics this weekend so you guys can follow my work on it.
