i'd like to get mechanix's input on it. he is familiar with these kinds of things. however those pistons look jacked.. i can understand if they were off center the same way but they look kind of off center randomly

Interesting concept, offsetting the bowl on the piston to also act as a valve pocket... Just didn't know you needed one of those with a low compression piston like that.

Tibbychick, not to undermine you or anything, I would try and find somebody in your area who knows turbocharging well and ask their opinion.

And BTW.. this spring when I buy your hood off of you, I am coming up personally to collect... save on shipping and I would like to take a peek first.

BUT.. that said.. I feel your pain here.. You are not the only person to have gotten ripped off by somebody here. The only reason I have never mentioned names, he does a VERY good job supplying the orders he gets for the things he makes.

2 uniq's been around for ages, he seems legit as hell.

anyhow as you put it "to cut a long story short"

im running the cnk pistons, 12psi - 14 months no probs.

yeah but without an engine actually being there you cant tell if those offsets would work.. even Mechanix said that and he is a hyundai tech
