Default I was afraid othis would happen

Its been nearly one month and yet no one has posted anything new here. I guess since all good things must end, Daewoo's time at this board has too. sad.gif I'm buying a Skyline R32 GTS-4 in the next two weeks, but I still like Daewoo. frown

There's simply nothing new to post. All I can say is, there's better aftermarket support now than ever, even if the company is *** -up. Our warranty issues are being resolved, parts are becoming available from Jamaica and Australia, and GM is liquidating Daewoos at four-digit prices.

Don't give up yet.

The daewootech yahoo forum is still active.

Chris is developing new products all by himself.

We're getting up the hill, slowly but surely.

Things are not the best, but we have seen worse.

sad.gif Nothing new for such a long time. Went shopping on EBAY recently and AUTOTRADER and I have found many nice Lanos models real cheap. Unfortunately, almost all are automatics. sad.gif

At the costs these are going to, one could build a sleeper pretty cheap now. I don't think anyone will though. If I were still in America, I'd be interested in working on one. But, I'm not three anymore and I have found a nice black R32 Skyline GTS4 and if it checks out ok mechanically, then I'll buy it next week.

Hummmm Skyline...

I found a guy in Australia who's gonna open a web store mainly for korean cars, Daewoo included.

He got Aluminium air intake, front and rear strut bar, wihite gauge face, chrome handle cover, etc.

Great guy, we could do a group buy from him (i guess... i should ask him.)

Australia? At least someone is doing something parts wise. As usual, its not in the USA.

Oh, yeah I am getting an R32 Skyline, but its NOT a GTR. Still pretty fast though and AWD.
