So, how bad are the relationships between the two.
I am going to go ahead and assume a few of you know who I am.

Ha, well I am the only admin/mod now there.
I used to mod, then was put into the admin role.
I want to turn it back to what it used to be, back when I first got my hyundai in 05.
Soo, Before I send messages, I was looking to see if it was still as bad as i remember it.
Btw, I can pretty much do what ever the hell I want there now.

Where do I begin...
1. After being on staff over there for years, contributing massive amounts of knowledge and topics and stickies, and helping Rob and others get HP going in its infancy....I was permabanned for having an HA avatar and link in my sig. The icing on the cake was when I was banned after receiving multiple offers from Autoguide to sell HA to them which I easily denied.
2. The travesty that Autoguide turned HP into is too much to bare sometimes when you see the amount of banner ads, spam, fake profiles, and improper knowledge that floods that site now.
3. Not only did HP turn its back on me by the banishment, but they also turned their back on important members in the scene who made what Hyundai communities are today. Do you realize that Tony (random), Kirk (autobot), Rudy, 4doorGL (Rob), Red, Bry, and other OG members still log in over here and post still but wont step foot on HP? What does that tell you?
Theres way more I can go on about it but I made my point multiple other times. HP is for a better word, dead. It will NEVER get back to what it was unfortunately. Does that actually hurt me to say that? Yes, it does because like so many others, I put a ridiculous amount time and effort into that site. After what Autoguide did to it, I made my mind up to focus all my energy on HA and its been an amazing decision ever since. This site see's a ton of daily activity with a wonderful group of core members and staff. They are dedicated and want to see the site advance and be the best it can be.
HA will be 13 years old this May and gets better and better every year in its existance. HP COULD have been like this even after Rob sold it. A major problem was the fact that the new admin wasnt even a Hyundai owner and no idea about the scene & community.
Ok, this post is getting long enough so I'll end it here...
