this is pointless, but I saw a honda with 2nd gen/elantra wheels the other day... Hyundai center caps and all. It made me laugh out loud... anyone else see such a thing?

Ya got me... when I say Elantra, I mean the GT wheels... the same ones that came with my 01 tib, which, yes, are 4x114.4. it was a little red honda, I think it was an older accord (early to mid 90's I'd guess), but I'm not sure... the older hondas all start to look the same to me. I wish I had taken a pic. As mismatched as I knew it was, it looked really good.

It had to have been an Accord. They share the same bolt pattern as we do. I bought a set of wheels from an Accord owner and they fit.

Yeah, I saw a nice Accord a few months ago with them on there. Even had the STOCK TIRES from a RD2 on it.

I laughed so hard.

The guy that owned it came out and I asked him about his car. Lightly modified, but it did look good. That colored tint is legal here and lots of folks have it, so the blue looked good with his blue paint and headlights.

He told me "Those are a special set of rims that Honda offered for only 2 months."

I showed him my car sitting next to his and said, "Wow, Hyundai offered them for about 4 years now. Oh yeah, when did Honda change thier H?"

He got in his car pissed off and took off so fast backwards he hit a truck parked behind him.
