thanks man.. your tib is awesome.. i'm obviously bias towards rd1's but your car makes the rd2's look real good man.. i wish i had your cf dash.. damn.. and your boost set up is pretty cool too.. and yeea our setups are pretty different but i think we're pretty even in terms of power.. haha.. just a wild guess.. but yeea.. the little run we had was awesome, it couldnt have been any more closer..

but yeea, heres my take on the day..
the day started early.. had to debate whether to wash my car or not cause i knew it was gonna rain, but i did anyways. met up with rob (2uniq) at around 11:30 cause we were both running wayyyy behind, we tried to make it way earlier but things delayed us. we met up and had an awesome drive there. 2uniq's car PULLS hard! holy crap.. makes my car feel like its stock.. damn.. makes me feel like i boosted for nothing..
but yeea.. it was a nice drive there..
we arrived at the meet saw everyone talking and checkin out the rides.. as soon as i came out i saw vipers ride which i was so happy to cause i was lookin forward to it and seeing it in person.. its an awesome ride man.. damn i can't even explain .. but yeea, i saw some familiar faces and met new ones.
the weather turned out pretty good after a while. i love the santa fe that was there it was sick.. and yoons XG was pimp.. well done guys.. and not to mention i finally got to see rixsharks car even though we live pretty close together.. and just talking to everyone was great.. people were very friendly which made it easy.
and then we went on the cruise which was sickkkkk... yeea everyone was just so antsy at hutches for a while so when we got on the road it was burning rubber everywhere.. i loved how it looked on the highway when like a bunch of tibs just weaved through traffic and seeing all the tibs surrounding everyone.. just awesome..
its getting late and i'm gettin tired.. theres still more to tell but i cant make it right now..
all in all the meet at the bar and line at the parking lot was great..
i could talk on and on about the people and the time we had there but don't want to write an essay right now..
thanks graham for makin it a good one.. even though not that many showed as i expected prolly due to weather , we had great quality hyundais there for sure! great bunch..
oh and yeea.. me and 2uniq were talkin about having more meets more often.. that would be great.. but hard for the long distance guys i guess.. but i'm sure we could figure somethin out..

I am glad we had a chance to hang out. Missy is real cool even though she got us kicked out of the Boston Manor. j/k Sorry about the ass kicking I gave in the Halo2...I tried to go easy on you. If you would like to be trained in the Jedi way, I am only a 3 hour drive from you and you and Missy are always welcome to come stay with us for a weekend. You should look into getting a modded Xbox. It makes the time go by quickly for us un-employd bums.

I was pleasantly surprised with the result of the show. Aspecially since the dealership backed out at the last minute. I am also really pleased that I havn't heard of any people not finding out about the venue change and showing up at the dealership and wondering WTF?

I was really impressed with the quality of the work that you all have put into your cars. As a tuner myself I can really appreciate not only the mods that go into the car, but the time and efort it takes to just save the money. You can really tell there is some passion in the Hyundai community.

2UNIQ, NightShark, Viper, and SOCKS... Those are some fast cars ou have there. Even though I wish I had a boosted car, I am glad thre are a few of us out there who can show the people out there that a Hyundai can and will kick your azz. SPAWN... That is one off the hottest and most unique Santa Fe's I have ever seen. RixShark, good to see you. I think I will be dropping by the MapleView Mall more often.

Man... There are too many names to list. I am just so glad to have been given the chance to spend some time getting to know all of you a little better.

call_to_arms84... I think that was you who sold me the dash and valve cover. Thanks man. You really did have something for everyone. I have already taken that valve cover and done a sweet paint job on it. I will likely be installing it today. Pics to come.

page 1 is absolutely destroying my computer. haha. the thumbnails are fine, but once i reach the bigger photos my computer decides to hate me. and i have DSL. i guess thats what you get for having a 5 year old Wal Mart computer.

 

looks loads of fun. Next time this happens I will make the 10 hour drive from Iowa to come.

 

Sunday was awesome....

Rolled out of bed at 9am....LOL (Benefits of living in the same town)

10 a.m. Gathered up the Lethal Invasion Hyundai drivers (we're not a Hyundai specific club...but 80% of the cars are H)

10:30ish - Rolled into Hutches to see 2 Tibs and an XG....lol...that was it.....

The rest has been explained, so I'll skip those details, but after watching Vic, Rob, and Nate rippin' around...I felt left out....so I'm looking in a completely different direction from what I was before.

I used to think that having a fast car really wouldn't make a difference to me because the roads have speed limits. Watching these guys I realised you can still do the speed limit with fast car....it just takes you less time to get there. fing02.gif

Anywho, it was a great day. Definitely had a good time and hope to see more new faces next year.

 

Sounds like it was a lot of fun. I guess I'll have to make time to go next year. That is, if it isn't any further than say 600 miles

o and to who merged the posts, im confused on why.. it woulda been nice to just have a pics thread, and then have a thoughts thread so people who wanted to read about HS could go one place, and people who just wanted to see a huge conglomeration of pics could go elsewhere.. its no biggy i guess, just a lil more pain..

we need to have meets more often, either two there in burlington or one there in august and one somewhere else.. dont matter to me, i just wanna see all you guys more, sux bein only one day a year, lookin forward to it alll year long and then in 8hrs its over...
